Topics include: electrical current effects in the human body, electrical hazards (electric shock, thermal burns, arc flash, arc blast), electrical protections (insulation, guarding, grounding, electrical protection devices), safety controls, safe work practices, and responding to electric shock. This course covers relevant Cal/OSHA regulations (Reference: 8 CCR Chapter 4, Subchapter 5: Group 1. Low-Voltage Electrical Safety Orders).
