Instructor-Led Training Resources

GETTING STARTED

We have developed a host of resources for IPM Coordinators to launch Pesticide Employee Safety Training (PEST) onsite.

Please read the entirety of this webpage to learn about the required steps and available materials for conducting PEST at your UC location.

Submitting DPR-Approved Courses

If IPM Coordinators and supervisors prefer to use an already-existing DPR-approved Continuing Education class, they may do so after obtaining Systemwide Pesticide Oversight Committee (SPOC) approval.

To submit this approval request for the course, IPM Coordinators must complete a Training Request Google Form.

Display the PEST Presentation as you are conducting the training.

Training Materials

During the 2025 UC PEST Workshop Tour, IPM Coordinators received physical teaching equipment to be used during practicum sections of PEST, including eyewash stations and sprayers.

These are available onsite for your use during the training. Please contact your local IPM Coordinator to locate the materials at your location.
