Target audience: Pesticide employees (Handlers/Applicators, Supervisors), EH&S, Facilities Grounds/Landscape, Agricultural & Natural Reserves, Agricultural Operations, Researchers (optional).

Fees: There is no registration fee for this course for UC staff. However, travel costs and meals outside this training are the responsibility of the home department.

What to expect

MEALS

Lunch will be provided free to attendees. Please note that reimbursement for meals in lieu of those provided at the training is NOT allowed under UC policy G-28.

PARKING

At UCSF Mission Bay, there are many options for parking, including multi-level parking garages and surface lots located throughout campus. 

1. Owens Street Garage, Surface Parking Lot & Valet Parking (best location for patient parking)
Self parking is available at the Owens Street Garage and surface lot (the garage is connected to the surface lot). In addition, valet parking is available at no additional cost, directly in front of the UCSF Ron Conway Family Gateway Medical Building at 1825 4th Street.

Travel

AIRPORT

There are two major airports in the Bay Area, the Oakland International Airport (OAK) and the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Public transportation is available to UCSF via Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART).
