AIRPORT

Oakland/San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK): The Oakland Airport is closest to Berkeley. 

GROUND

The Downtown Berkeley BART station is located just around the block from campus, on Shattuck Avenue between Allston Way and Addison Street. The campus is a 3 minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART.

PARKING

  • Parking on campus is very limited. UC Berkeley utilizes the PayByPhone App for parking payment.

  • Reciprocity for parking permits from other campuses is available as follows: 

    • Any valid UC Campus Faculty/Staff permit is valid for short term use in "F" Lots, subject to lot posting restrictions.  

    • Please e-mail your proof of parking permit purchase to prktrans@berkeley.edu and include your visit date and where on campus you are visiting and our staff will create a guest parking account for you.

    • For complete information about reciprocity, visit the UC Berkeley Transportation & Parking Services website.

  • Hotel Parking 

    • Valet only at a rate of $54/day. (0-3 Hours $20.00, 3-6 Hours $40.00, >6 hours $54.00). Key fob for vehicle required.

MEALS

UCOP Risk Services will be hosting the following meals:

  • Monday: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

  • Tuesday: Breakfast and Lunch

Lunch will be provided free to attendees. Dinner will be provided by UCOP Risk Services and anyone who does not attend cannot have their own expenses reimbursed. Please note that reimbursement for meals in lieu of those provided at the training is NOT allowed under UC policy G-28.
