University of California Campus Leadership Safety Tabletop Exercise 2024

Representatives from UC campuses will participate in a tabletop exercise designed to assist campus leadership in decision making while dealing with disruptive events. This event is sponsored by University of California Office of the President (UCOP) Risk Services and Systemwide Community Safety.

LOCATION
Review the campus map for driving directions.
PARKING
The UCI Student Center is building number 113 on the campus map and is located across from the Student Center Parking Structure (SCPS). Permit dispensers at the structure accept credit cards and cash. A valid parking permit is required at all times when parking on campus. Visitors may purchase a permit at any information kiosk, dispenser, or through UCI Transportation’s PARKbyPLATE system when in select parking areas.
WIFI
To connect to the wireless network on campus, either log in to eduroam (available if you have already used it), or connect to the UCI-Guest WiFI.
AIRPORT
UC Irvine campus is approximately 4 miles from John Wayne Airport (SNA).
MEALS
A light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon refreshments will be available on the event day. An attendee’s home location is responsible for the attendee’s travel and reimbursement of expenses under UCOP policy G-28. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please share that information in your registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
LODGING
There are many hotels near the UCI campus where an attendee can choose to stay. Note: No hotel room block is available for this event.
