Workplace Violence Responder Training Program
The Workplace Violence Responder Training Program includes a variety of training opportunities for UC Health employees. These training options are aligned with UC Workplace Violence Prevention (WPVPP) and 8 CCR 3342Violence Prevention in Health Care.

As part of the UC Workplace Violence Responder training series, identified UC Health employees are required to take the following:

Workplace Violence Responder: Principles of Safe Restraint Use (UCLOLWPVRESPONDERRESTRAINT)
Workplace Violence Responder: Post-Incident Responsibilities (UCLOLWPVRESPONDERPOSTINCIDENT)

Workplace Violence Responder: Physical Disengagement Maneuvers 2-Hour Training (UCLOLWPVRESPONDERPHYSICAL2-ILT)*
Workplace Violence Responder: Physical Disengagement Maneuvers 4-Hour Training (UCLOLWPVRESPONDERPHYSICAL4-ILT)*
*Please note that trainings 9, 10, and 11 require in-person attendance.
Completion Requirements
All eCourses must be completed as a prerequisite for attending the Workplace Violence Responder: In-Person De-Escalation Skills (ILT).
The eCourses can be completed in any order, but the default order is listed above.
Locations need to be able to schedule all instances of all three ILT trainings manually. They have different training schedules and frequencies.
Locations should work with their local LMS administrator to set their audiences and course notifications.
